Baby Room
Age Range: From birth
Your baby's first nursery experience should feel like an extension of home. The baby room is warm, safe, and sensory-rich — full of interesting things to touch, see, and explore at their own pace.
Babies learn through their five senses, and everything in this room supports that. Your baby's key worker will change them and settle them, building the bonds that help them feel secure.
Toddler Room
Age Range: 12 months+
The toddler room is where your child really starts to find their feet. It's stimulating without being overwhelming — floor-level activities, low tables, and a little home corner with a play kitchen to spark imaginative play.
Staff model and encourage language, movement, and social skills throughout the day. Your toddler will come home full of stories.
Tweenie Room
Age Range: 2 years+
At two, children are ready to start building independence. The Tweenie room is all about that — brushing teeth, toilet training, self-serve snack time, and plenty of choice about how they spend their day.
The room has its own outdoor balcony, so children can flow freely between inside and outside. Being outdoors is never a treat here — it's the default.
Preschool
3–5 years
Preschool at Appledore is where children get school-ready — on their own terms. The focus is on curiosity, social skills, and the confidence to try things and get them wrong.
Staff provide hands-on activities, group challenges, and independent play opportunities. By the time your child leaves for school, they'll be ready — and excited.
